I sit at cafes almost everyday for hours on end, eating dark chocolate, oreos, and marshmallows with my hot tea or coffee. If the cafe has wireless internet, I'm even more pleased. It's not a bad life at all... and life is short. Live it up.

Sometimes I work, too.

In recent months, I've been involved with creating a non-profit organization called Selam Foundation. Our mission is to create life transforming medical service learning opportunities for underprivileged and minority youth. The first trip is to Ethiopia, but unfortunately, I can't make it out on this medical mission. Hopefully, I can plan for the next one. Anyways, check us out. I created the website and designed the logo! So proud!

Pretty cool, check it out, sign up: fanpop.com
I created a "Taiwanese Americans Spot" for the site, because, well, we're here and we're proud. Be a fan.

It's been exactly one week since camp ended. The perception and impact of time measured by one week at TAF does not equal the one week duration post-TAF. It never has for as long as I've been at TAF. Does this make sense to anybody? Perhaps there's an answer in Einstein's theory of relativity or something...

8.19.2006

I've been sitting here eating chocolate and marshmallows all night. This can't be good for me.

I totally remember Susan and Emily from TAF days back in the early 90's... Now they're making music and on tour! Check out Exit Clov's website! And listen to some of their stuff on Myspace!

Cute, hip, and musical! I've got twice the crush!

I just discovered that Tzu and I both saw each other a couple days ago when she was visiting Chicago, but we weren't quite sure it was the other person... A missed opportunity - that makes me sad. *long distance hug*
