I was working this evening, and Batman and two princesses were feeling a little sick. I fixed them up and they went back out to make the world a better place.

If I can't be brilliant, then I want to support people who are. Especially the ones who don't even realize it yet.

All I really want to do is just play outside. Either that, or travel back in time when life seemed a little bit easier...

What a crazy night. What started out as little dinner planned for Charlene's and Lester's visit from the east coast became a huge (mostly TAF) gathering. Our reasons for gathering expanded to: birthdays (Mengting, Lester, Cindy, and me), visitors from out of town (Lester, Charlene, Karen, Sandra, and Ivan), new TAFers who've moved to town (Paul, Nancy, Steve, James, and Tim), and TAFers who we haven't seen in awhile (Andy, Linda, Young, Harmony, Gloria). Mobilizing 24 people to meet and move from one location to another was like moving a glob of peanut butter with a fork. No easy task, but still a fun time!
Celebrating birthdays, visitors, and new Bay area residents.
Two degrees. And 16 TAFers.
Karen, Linda, & Harmony. Charlene and me.
Happy birthday to Mengting, Lester, and me.
A mostly TAF crowd.

I'm here in the hospital ward working overnight, and there is water pouring from the ceiling in four of the rooms. And now that there are soaked ceiling panels falling off, I'm wondering, should I be a little more concerned? Especially since the direction of water flow seems to be coming my way? It's a bit chaotic here needless to say.
I need my shift to be over a little sooner. Good grief.

I sometimes think I have wise words to share. Yesterday, I thought of something profound as I was walking home from a cafe, but now I can't remember it. Brilliant.
In my old age, I perhaps should start writing some of these ideas down.
