I was aiming for "healthy" when I bought these organic Fuji apples. After a few bites, I found a nice round tunnel that was empty. Then I slowly realized I should stop chewing... Blech! I'm going back to waxy-coated preservative-plenty mass-produced red-painted apples. Worms are not tasty.

Worms would be protein rich, no? Think, that's fruit and protein in the same bite!

My mom says that those holes aren't actually from worms. They come from birds pecking at the apple. The birds peck at that apple because they know that that apple is tasty. Therefore, apples with holes are good.

Better than eating glass, I think.
