Betsy made such a deliciously authentic South Indian dinner for us, her fellow interns, this evening. We were all so thoroughly impressed. And she isn't even Asian Indian, which I think is twice as impressive. Every once in awhile, you meet someone who is just so knowledgeable about a culture outside of their own, it just puts you to shame. Yes, I admit it; I am a naive Asian American. Neither really one nor the other. I should live outside of this country for awhile. Become French or something. C'est tres possible...
